Sleepy... Ah. Mockery?

Just got back from the rehearsal studio, and now I'm putting together data for the poster...
It's the one for the special favors/goods live on the 24th.

But yesterday's OTO-ONI live was so fun.

The 24th... it's almost here, isn't it? I'm getting tense. *sweat*
Can I... make it in time?

Hmm~ I'll brush off the sleepiness and get psyched〜! Yo〜!

But first I think I'll take a bath.

It's time

It's time for our first Nagoya live.

I'm looking forward to it from here on.

I will do my best to avoid getting into any accidents on the way.

The steering wheel of my car feels stiffer and stiffer lately.

...

It's scary.

I can't parallel park without putting all my strength into it.

It's broken... huh.

Also, I'll try not to fall asleep at the wheel.

Hey now

Hey now hey now~, Yuu-Yuu. Don't go getting brave.
You said it was a secret but I already saw your blog.

So you remembered what happened at the gas station. Talk about embarrassing.
But you know. I honestly seriously thought I was screwed.
I opened my eyes and right in front of me was the glass-sided waiting room of the gas station!! I was like, zzz... "WOAH~! I fell asleep! We're~ gonna~ crash~!" and slammed my foot down even though there was no brake in front of me. All these fun memories and yesterday's dinner and Goshi's shocked face all flashed before my eyes.

I had been really sleepy for two hours before that, but I kept telling myself "do not sleep~ do not sleep~ do NOT sleep~" as I was driving, so I guess that was still echoing in my head. *laugh*

So after I answered Yuu-kun's question.
I thought "Oh. Right." and went right back to sleep.

The relief I felt at that moment was immense. Ah, it's wonderful to be alive. But the photo in Yuu-kun's blog is really hilarious~~.

Becky's notes: This entry refers to Yuu's blog from the day before, which is not translated yet. ><;

Done!

I was a little slow posting this, but my iPod case is done~.
This is how it turned out.
I went to a different store for the metal fittings, and the guy there called my case "native style.” Meaning the so-called Native Americans. The Hi-ya-ya-ya Hi-ya-ya-ya guys.
So I used native-style metal fittings too.
Phew. Been a long time since I worked this hard on a craft.
I built up a lot of summer homework. *laugh*

First Kanto live.

Everyone in Kanto, nice to meet you. And as always, thanks to our road trip team!.
Yesterday was rainy, but it was fun.
Thank you all.
The fans' outfits were so cute, and the event atmosphere was different from usual so it was really stimulating.
I learned a lot.

If I could sum up those three days including travel in one word, it would be "BABABABAM" *laugh*.
Right? It felt like that, right? Hisashi-kun? Huh? What about Yuu-Yuu?

Whoops, the tiredness just now hit me like "bababam." I'm gonna sleep now. G'night.

By the way, the things I took for the personal gift section were a "Gloomy straight from my cell phone" and "out of my makeup box, a... paint brush? Writing brush? What is this thing?".
Sorry for the boring stuff *sweat*. But I liked them both so take care of them, ok?

Craft time

Yo! Long time no see! How have you been?
It's been getting so much cooler recently, the mornings are just cold.
Ah~ this is such a great season~. (ー_ー)♪

Changing the subject, I said it in Risknote too, but I've been getting into leather craft. So much that I want to put everything I own in leather *laugh*.

So, I wanted a case for my iPod Nano so I went to my usual shop, but they didn't have anything good. So I talked with the owner and told him that I wanted him to make something like this, but his reaction wasn't great... 'Eyy! If that's how it is, I'll make my own! So I had him sell me a cut of deerskin and some leather thread and metal fittings made to attach to belts. And what I made from that is what you see in the photo.

Even this gave me a lot of trouble. I had to re-measure the size over and over and stuff. The hide is soft enough to stretch, so it was hard to get good precision... the window where the iPod screen shows through came out a little warped. But I guess it's pretty good for my first time?. It really is fun making things myself~ I can change the design to match what's in my head and stuff. Mistakes happen though, like holes opening in places where they're not needed *laugh*.

Ah- now that I think about it, I should've taken a picture while I was in the process of making it. That would've been more interesting... But it's not finished yet. Next I'm planning to make a cover flap and add conchos.

When I finish it I'll upload another picture on my blog~.

Live shows: third lesson~

Wee~. I have finally arrived at my own castle. I will again sleep surrounded by the trash. Sleep. However! That Kyoto heat! I wanted to just melt away!. However! I am not groggy, Mst! One way or another, let's get to the third lesson! Don't let your homework pile up *laugh*

Today's topic is~ "THIS NEW ORDER"~! And of course, your lecturer - this is the bananaman!

It's late so I'll keep this short. I heard that if you make too much ruckus at night snakes will come out. Scary scary.

In the B melody, after
"This new order" and
"This sudden plunder"
we have a "Hey!" This appears in the recorded version too, so if you have a copy on hand, and if your senses are good you should be able to pick it up just from one listen. Today's lesson is simple. While shouting "Hey!" you can raise your fist, jump, jump backwards, sit... ...you're free to choose. Free~dom!!.

Also, here's a supplement to yesterday's lesson
"123412 this! world!"
"123412 fu!ture!"
"123412 to! be!"
The "this! world!" and "fu!ture!" and stuff are the points where you raise your fist. I recommend saving your strength on the "this!" and attacking the "world!" like Mario grabbing a mushroom. This is what the bananaman me does. But I guess you can do it the other way around too. Punching your fist on "this!" and holding back on "world!". Stuff like that.

Well then, I'll be waiting on 8-4.. *laugh*!!

Live shows: second lesson~

How is everyone doing? It was so hot in Osaka today! Really~ it was so hot, my sweat wouldn't dry. I thought I was going to melt *sweat*. How was the lesson last time? Did it help? Hm? Do I suck at explaining? Hey now, don't say stuff like that. But I saw the results of all your practice with my own eyes~ fufufu... So. It's already time for the second lesson, straight from the almost-melted soup of my brain! Let's give it a shot!

Today's topic is~ "Ai Subeki Shikeidai" da~ da~ DA~! (creepy excitement↑ enter the bananaman!!)

Last time was about "Hey!" but this time is different. Degree of difficulty up! This is English, ENGLISH, words in English!.
I. am Japanese. Hmm~ can I do this!?

Now then... after chorus tsuu, no, chorus two ends [1]

"What are you thinking about in (this world?)
Are you thinking about a (future?)
Where do you want (to be?)
Where do you want to go? (fucker!!)"

Just looking at it gives me a headache, but let's continue.
For the parts in (parentheses) above, we add some extra power to the chorus.
In this part the beat consists of 8th notes... Hey there! You whose face just went white as a sheet. Open your closed-up dust-covered music textbook right now *laugh*. Phew, cough cough.
Back on the subject, to put it more simply, when you naturally count out the "ri-yuu- naki-~" part of the chorus, the beat is "1 2 3 4" here while in the English part it counts out as "12341234." In this way,

"123412 this! world!"
"123412 fu!ture!"
"123412 to! be!"

Shout this from your belly while raising your fist, jumping, blooming (that again?! *laugh* well, that's just one example of doing whatever you like).
By the way, Shundei and No.069 are apparently saying
"this wa-" "fyu- cha-" "to- be-"
So they say.
The real issue is the "fucker!!" that comes after that. This one is different from the rest, so just match your "fucker!!" with Bit-kun's. ...So the lesson is over? No, not your head! Your body! Remember with your body!

There's a part after this where you yell, but that's no problem. Right? *laugh* Well then, once again I'll be waiting to see the results of these lessons from my place on the stage.. *laugh*

Ah~ I want to hear "fucker!!" now *laugh*

Becky's note: [1] Everyone probably figured this out, but "tsuu" is how the Japanese naturally pronounce "two," so he was correcting his own pronunciation here. Heheh. This whole entry is a blast. Hiroshi is a dork. :D

Live shows: first lesson~

How is everyone? You haven't lost to the heat, have you? For you sitting in front of the AC, and for you swaying back and forth on the train, for everyone who wants to enjoy our live shows more, today I present a lesson on Favorite Song.

There are a few differences between the version distributed as an mp3 and the version we play live, so I imagine there are some people who get confused. Today let's learn about the part of the chorus where you say "Hey!" *cold* [1] Now, I'll make it simple.

Starting with #1, the end of the chorus
"~Kono saki wa mienai mono bakari"
In the interlude after that,
The rhythm slows down (half time) to ♪dadada dada, daaa dada♪
This repeats 8 times, then returns to the original speed of the intro phrase.
From there,
1 2 3 4 1 2 3 "Hey!"
1 2 3 4 1 2 3 "Hey!"
1 2 3 4 1 2 3 "Hey!"
1 2 3 4 1 2 3 "Hey!"
Then comes the "Nani hitotsu kaerarenakatta boku no~" vocal solo...
That's how it works. Whether you want to raise your fist, jump backwards, or bloom (or not *laugh*), enjoy the Hey! in your own way. [2]

So the second lesson is the outro,
The "Hey!" that comes after "Let's sing a favorite song"
The rhythm here is the same as in the interlude, so you guys will be all right training yourselves at the battlefield, right? *laugh* Well then, I'll be waiting to see the results of these lessons from my place on the stage..

Ah~ I want to say "Hey!" now...

Becky's notes: [1] The "cold" here doesn't mean HE's cold; it's an expression often used in Japanese when someone has made a pun that is very old and cliche. But I guess my Japanese isn't good enough yet, since I couldn't find the pun. e_e

[2] The backwards jump and bloom things refer to actions commonly performed by fans at Japanese concerts. Please don't ask me to describe them...

Yahoo~.
It's a little late now, but thanks for everything on the 29th!
I was with all the music demons backstage, and thanks to one person among them the atmosphere of the room felt really nostalgic *laugh*. I think it was just me, but it was like, Ah~ I'm back home~. By the way, Yuusuke-kun helped with the record production. Thanks!
Anyway, this time I was more hyped up than I was during our first live. I was walking on air. I thought, Ooo~ I need more training!... and went to stand under a waterfall...

The water gushing, gushing...... Ah, that's right, there was something I had to have custom-made at Yuu-Yuu's house! [1] Too big... Next time we're in the studio, let's do This New Order.

But still - this is the question of the day. In the photo is a handcrafted wristwatch I fell for at first sight and bought today. I had thought since I have a cell phone I didn't need a watch. But it calls to me. If nothing else it calls to me *laugh*. I bought it at an antique and leather craft store that I visit all the time. Apparently they had made a few of them that other customers had ordered. At any rate, it's pretty. I love it.

Hiroshi's item of the day (without permission)
Black bean natto. Yum.

Becky's note: [1] This entire sentence is one big guess. I lose.
